Accepting Jesus Christ as your Savior is the greatest and most important decision you will ever make. He is our Savior, Redeemer, Comforter, Counselor, Deliverer, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, and Friend. He stepped out of Heaven's glory, took on human flesh, lived a sinless life, died on a cross, and rose from the dead, washing away all of our sins. He will save you, not because of anything you do, but because what he has already done on the cross of Calvary. This is His free gift: eternal life in Heaven. He only asks that we call on Him, confess our sins, believe that He is Lord, and believe that God raised Him from the dead. Won't you consider accepting this greatest of gifts?


Step 1: Admit that you're a sinner and need to be saved.

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" - Romans 3:23

We are all sinners and continually fail to live perfect lives. We are not worthy of God's grace and glory.

Step 2: Repent and turn from your sin.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord" - Romans 6:23

Our payment for sinning is death. God's gift to us is forgiveness through Jesus' sacrifice on the cross where he bore the weight of all mankind's sin.

Step 3: Believe that Jesus died for you on the cross and rose again.

"But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." - Romans 6:23

"But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." - Romans 5:8

Step 4: Pray and accept Christ as the Lord and Savior of your life

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.”  - Revelation 3:20

“Because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” - Romans 10:9

“For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”  - Romans 10:13
If God is knocking on the door of your heart, then answer and let Him come in.  You can receive Christ through prayer.  Here is a simple prayer of salvation:

“Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner.  I know that I need you.  I believe that you died on the cross for me. Forgive me of my sins. Right now, I turn from my sins and open the door of my heart and life to you.  I receive you as my Savior. Come into my life and save me.  Thank you for what you did for me.  Amen.”


It is not reciting a prayer that saves you but believing in your heart in the Lord Jesus Christ and confessing so with your mouth.  It is only by faith and trusting in Jesus that can you be saved.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.” -Ephesians 2:8-9
God loves you so much that he sent His son to die on the cross for you (John 3:16).
Nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:38-39).
“I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.” - John 10:9
